Staying at home doesn’t mean your skin should miss out.
Keeping up your skincare routine in-between clinic visits has always been an essential part of
achieving a healthy, glowing skin, but life get’s busy, and it’s easy to neglect what we know we
should do at home.
But now, being unable to visit us as you usually would when you felt your skin needed support is
not possible. So, what should you do?
Your skin still needs your attention, and you may find time spent on self-care treatments at home
will be invaluable to your state of mind as well as the health of your skin.
Taking better care of your skin at home is not a new idea, and as you may know, I’m always
encouraging you to commit to your homecare routine.
One of the reasons why I say this is because, when you can eventually come back to the clinic to
see us, you’ll be amazed at how much better your skin will respond to your usual treatments.
Think of the care you give your skin at home like any workout; the results are always better if you
commit.
Even so, if you’re like me, you may be finding it difficult to concentrate on anything other than the
Coronavirus or as I like to call it the C-Word, in which case, what better way to take your mind off
things and give your skin a much-needed boost at home.
I’ve come up with three ways you can enhance the efficacy of your home care and keep your skin
looking great no matter what’s going on in the world.
A facial you can do at home using the Aspect and Societe product ranges. This facial is easy to do
and will enhance your home care routine until you can get back in for your usual treatments.
Just click on the facial instructions for your downloadable and printable version. The products you’ll need are featured below and can be found at our online shop or if you need advice you can call or email me and I’ll be more than happy to talk you through
what you need for your facials at home.
A nourishing probiotic mask. Reveal radiant looking skin with this luxurious hydrating mask. Containing probiotics and antioxidants to deliver an infusion of nutrients to dry, dehydrated skin
A Gentle exfoliating fruit enzyme mask. Invigorate the skin with this exfoliating gel-mask. Harnessing the power of fruit enzymes to help remove lifeless skin cells, revealing a smoother, more radiant-looking appearance.
These innovative peptide gel sheets utilise Transdermal Cosmetic Delivery (TCD) to ensure that key ingredients are activated by the temperature of the skin. Formulated with a unique combination of peptides, plant-based stem cells and other potent anti-ageing ingredients, the skin is rapidly rehydrated, rejuvenated, smoothed and protected from harmful environmental aggressors.
If you haven’t discovered the benefits of skin needling, then now is the perfect time to add it to your daily routine.
Unlike medical or surgical needling carried out in the clinic, cosmetic needling can be done at home and improves the penetration of the active ingredients in your skincare products by creating tiny punctures in the surface of the skin. Ingredients like Retinol, Niacinamide, and Vitamin C will reach the deeper layers of your skin where they are needed the most.
Home needling is pain-free and if you’re motivated can be done every night before applying your usual serums.
You may have had a treatment with our DF Machine in the clinic, which we find to be a powerful device for infusing ingredients deeply into the skin.
It is a unique treatment created by Dr Des Fernandes, the pioneer of skin needling and the creator of Environ skincare.
If you genuinely want to take your home care to a whole new level, then the Ultra-Sonic DF Mobile Device is fantastic. Harnessing the power of low-frequency sonophoresis (ultrasound) and pulsed iontophoresis (electric current) you’ll be so please in how well your skin responds.
All you have to do is charge overnight, and then this compact, lightweight device is ready to go. You’ll find the Ultra-Sonic DF Mobile Device at our online shop, or if you’d like to know more, give me a call or shoot me an email and I’ll be more than happy to discuss how you can introduce it into your
weekly routine.
As always, if you have questions, please get in touch. I’m still very much in business, and I’m here to support you in any way I can. You can reach out via email and I’ll back in touch as soon as possible.
