ABOUT THE ENZYME HYDRO PEEL

A blend of papaya enzyme and 15% lactic acid the Enzyme Hydro Peel will stimulate cellular renewal and leave the skin looking soft, plump and hydrated and with a radiant and dewy glow. 

It is best to commence your Synergie chemical peel journey with at least one Enzyme Hydro Peel treatment, 

YOUR RESULTS.

Your skin will be hydrated, refined and refreshed, and ready for more active treatments. 

WHAT HAPPENS DURING YOUR TREATMENT?

You may feel a tingling or burning sensation during the application of the peel.

The skin may appear slightly pink and feel tight immediately following the peel treatment.

PREPARING FOR YOUR TREATMENT.

Before the Enzyme Hydro Peel, it’s essential to prepare your skin with active ingredients to maximise results and ensure safe and effective treatment for a minimum of 14 days before your treatment. 

The use of daily sun protection with a broad-spectrum sunscreen is vital in preparing for your peel treatment and will enhance the results.

Depending on your skin concerns, we’ll advise other specific products, so you achieve your skincare goal.  

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR TREATMENT?

Mild to moderate discomfort can be expected for up to 3 days depending on treatment – if swelling and discomfort persist past 72 hours, you must contact your clinician at Select Skin.

For the first 8 hours, do not apply additional other products on the skin.

Skin peeling and flaking start 3 – 5 days after your initial peel treatment and may continue for 5-7 days. 

Avoid picking or scratching the skin during this time to minimise trauma to the skin. 

Apply your recommended moisturiser to reduce irritation and severe dryness, and shedding. 

Sun protection must be worn and reapplied following the treatment. 

Avoid using makeup for a minimum of 8 hours after having a chemical peel unless your therapist provides mineral protection.

Typically you can resume your usual skincare regimen 3-5 days post-treatment or when all signs of inflammation have subsided or as advised by your dermal clinician.
