Thread Lifting – Bio Threads

For rejuvenating the skin, results can be seen after around six weeks and continue to improve for up to 12 months due to the gradual production of collagen.

For lifting and volume the results should be evident immediately following the procedure and will continue to improve overtime as the threads dissolve and collagen is naturally produced.

We recommend avoiding other injectables two – four weeks prior to your treatment. Fish oil supplements and other blood thinning medications should be ceased one week prior to your treatment to avoid bruising.

Your skin will be cleansed and prepared with numbing cream prior to the treatment. The Bio-Threads are inserting into the underlying tissue.

Once inserted the Bio-Threads will be absorbed by the body over time, typically around six to eight months. However, due to the increased collagen production, results can last up to 12 – 24 months.

Some side-effects can occur such as bruising, swelling, headache, bleeding, pain and mild asymmetry, superficial displacement and skin dimpling.

These side effects ten to naturally heal over time (typically resolving within two weeks) or can be addressed with a secondary treatment.

Note: This device is prohibited to use on patients who have Diabetes with complications of dermal necrosis.

You will see immediate results after one treatment which can last for 12 – 24 months.
