More active resurfacing for smoother, brighter-looking skin

When your skin looks dull, feels uneven or no longer reflects light as it once did, lighter exfoliation may not provide the correction you’re hoping for.

The Marini Refine Peel uses a two-step clinical peeling process to improve rough texture, visible pores, uneven tone and early signs of ageing. A professional acid blend is followed by a concentrated Retinol Activator with peptides and antioxidants to enhance the overall result.

Marini Refine offers more active correction than a progressive glycolic peel for skin that is ready to move to the next level of resurfacing.

If you are a new client, welcome!
Your appointment will start with a skin consultation. During your initial consultation, one of our dermal clinicians will discuss your skin concerns, describe our treatments and skin care products in detail, and create a customised treatment plan to suit your individual needs.

Upon booking your appointment, you will be required to pay a deposit from $80 to secure your spot.

Please be aware we require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us time to offer your time slot to another client.

Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your appointment without giving us a full 24 hours notice or fail to show up.

How does the Marini Refine Peel work?

The Marini Refine Peel creates a controlled resurfacing response through a professional acid blend followed by a concentrated Retinol Activator containing peptides and antioxidants.

This two-step process helps release compacted surface cells that can make the complexion look dull, rough or uneven.

As the skin renews, its texture and clarity can improve, visible pores may appear more refined and early fine lines may look softened.

Brighter, smoother and more refined-looking skin

What Results Can You Expect?

Following treatment and recovery, the skin may look brighter, smoother and more polished. Rough texture and superficial discolouration may improve, while enlarged pores and early fine lines may appear less noticeable.

Results will depend on your skin’s starting condition, the treatment course recommended and the skincare you use between appointments.

We’ll assess these factors and recommend the right course of treatments and homecare to support your skin before, during and after your peel.

A personalised approach to professional resurfacing

Is Marini Refine Peel Right For Your Skin?

Every Clinical Peel at Select Skin begins with an assessment of your skin. We’ll consider its current condition, sensitivity, barrier health and treatment history, along with the skincare and active ingredients you’re already using.

Where appropriate, we’ll use our OBSERV Skin Analysis to look beyond the skin’s surface and identify underlying pigmentation, congestion, redness or sun damage. This gives us a clearer picture of your skin and helps us recommend the most suitable treatment.

Appropriate skin preparation is required before a the Marini Refine Peel. If your skin isn’t ready to proceed, after your initial consultation, we may recommend preparation with prescribed homecare or begin with the Marini Progressive Glycolic Resurface Peel, where suitable.

What skin concerns can it treat?

The Marini Refine Peel may be recommended for:
Dullness or loss of luminosity
Rough or uneven skin texture
The appearance of enlarged pores
Superficial pigmentation
Uneven-looking skin tone
Superficial fine lines
Early signs of visible ageing

For active acne, recurring congestion or melasma, we may recommend the Marini Clarify Peel. For more established sun damage, pigmentation and textural irregularities, the Marini Transform Peel may be considered where appropriate.

A comfortable treatment with minimal downtime

During you Marini Refine Peel Treatment

The Marini Refine Peel is applied in two carefully controlled steps. You may experience tingling, warmth or a more active sensation while the peel is applied.

The strength and application will be determined according to your skin, treatment goals and previous experience with active ingredients.

Is there any downtime?

Dryness, flaking or visible peeling may occur as the skin renews. Your individual response will depend on your skin and how actively it’s treated.

Treatment FAQs

Refine is designed for dullness, rough or uneven texture, visible pores, superficial pigmentation, uneven-looking skin tone and early signs of ageing. Your skin will be assessed before treatment to ensure it is the most appropriate formulation.

Refine can help smooth compacted surface cells and improve the overall texture around pores, making enlarged pores appear more refined. It cannot permanently change your natural pore structure, and ongoing homecare may be needed to maintain the result.

Refine may improve superficial pigmentation and uneven-looking skin tone. Melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation and more established sun damage behave differently, so the cause and depth of the discolouration need to be assessed before selecting a peel.

Dryness, flaking or visible peeling may occur as the skin renews. The extent and duration will vary according to your skin and treatment application.

Refine is selected for concerns such as rough texture, visible pores, superficial pigmentation and early signs of ageing. Transform provides more intensive resurfacing for more established sun damage, pigmentation and textural irregularities. The most appropriate peel will be determined by your skin, not simply by choosing the stronger treatment.

The Marini Post-TX1 Recovery Enhancement System is included to cleanse, protect and support your skin during the initial recovery period. Your Select Skin therapist will explain exactly how and when to use each product.

Ready to See What's Possible?

If dullness, rough texture, visible pores or uneven tone are making your skin look less refined, we’ll assess whether the Marini Refine Peel is the most appropriate next step.
